Kegworth sisters Penny (year 4) and Olivia (year 2) have won ATOM’s 1-Minute Film competition with their powerful and emotive film BFFs – Animals in World War 2.
Penny and Olivia drew pictures and then used an animation tool to bring their artwork to life.
“Our animation, ‘BFFs – Animals in World War 2’ is about the cats who served in the war,” explains Penny.
“After the war, animals made great companions to returned service men and women.”
So how did it feel to win the award?
“We feel really happy to win the ATOM award,” says Penny. “We enjoyed drawing and animating the animals.”
