Board games. Those things that you always seem to lose because you have no memory or luck. Scrabble, Bananagrams, Ticket to Ride, Chinese Checkers, all of these qualify as board games, but what do they have in common other than the fact that they are on a board? The answer; they help us learn.
You might be wondering how on earth that is possible, but if you think about it, Scrabble & Bananagrams teach you english, spelling and memory, Chinese checkers teaches you to stategise & think before you move, and Ticket to Ride teaches you basic geography. These skills are fairly useful in life.
