Six Cool Clubs You Can Join At Kegworth

One of the things we all love about Kegworth is the wide range of cool clubs that you can sign up to! There is something for everyone!

Press gang (year 4, 5 & 6)

The first ever Press Gang meeting!

Inara says: “I love press gang because its fun”

You can join press gang by coming to the library on Mondays and Thursday lunchtimes. Meetings start at the beginning of the year. 

Band/Strings (Junior and Senior)

Regina says: “I loved band because your always learning new songs and techniques which will help you with your instrument”

Ayesha says: “I get to play my violin and make new friends.”

You can join by asking the music teacher ms findlay or sign a note from the office. Junior band years 3-4 Senior is years 5-6

Tournament Of The Minds (TOM) 

Riley says: “I loved it because it had drama and you could learn off it. It was also extremely fun.”

To join you need to see Ms Williams Junior and come to meetings every day at lunch. Meetings start at the beginning of the year.

Chess Club 

Chess club takes place in the library on Wednesday lunchtimes.

Choir both (Senior and Kookaburra) 

Sophie says: “I love it because I’ve always liked singing and if you join before term 3 you get to go to the opera house which is really exciting.”

You can join at the beginning of the year by asking the music teacher Ms Findlay. Junior choir is for Kindergarten to Year 2. Senior choir is for Year 3 to Year 6.5:

Worm farm & Gardening Club (Year 3 & 4)

Grace says: “ I like to do it because I like to take part in lots of environmental projects”
