In this story, we are going to tell you what you learn from watching your favourite team lose. As you probably know, Our Tigers have just lost the chance to go to the finals of the NRL by being beaten by the Cronulla Sharks but though it might be trash that we lost you don’t have to be down in the dumps.
One thing that you can learn is to have a Growth Mindset. A Growth Mindset refers to a learning theory developed by Dr Carol Dweck. It is based on the belief that you can improve intelligence, ability and performance through practice and hard work. The opposite, a fixed mindset, refers to the belief that a person’s talents are set in stone.
Another thing you can learn from watching your favourite team lose, is to remember that there is always next year.
Even though the Tigers missed out this year, if they keep trying hard then next year they could get into the finals and even maybe win the championship. Same goes for any personal goal you may have.
Thanks for reading and remember that you should always have a growth mindset and remember that there is always another shot!
